To support aerospace and medtech programs, the fully remote FPGA Engineer will design, develop, and implement FPGA-based digital systems, focusing on safety-critical embedded systems and high-performance digital hardware. Key responsibilities Design and develop FPGA-based digital systems using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog, managing the full FPGA lifecycle Develop and execute verification strategies, including simulation-based validation and timing analysis Integrate FPGA designs into hardware platforms and troubleshoot complex hardware/firmware issues during development and testing Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 5+ years of hands-on FPGA design and development experience Strong proficiency in HDL languages (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) Experience with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, Microchip Libero) Knowledge of digital design principles, RTL design, and hardware interfaces
