Lead Prosthetist-OrthotistPosition Overview: We are looking for a Lead Prosthetist-Orthotist to join our team. This position blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities. The role is best suited for a skilled clinician who is passionate about patient outcomes and ready to mentor, guide, and manage a clinical team.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care (approx. 75% of the role).Manage and oversee prosthetic cases across multiple sites.Mentor and support Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists and Certified Orthotists.Build and maintain physician and referral source relationships.Collaborate with fabrication and audit teams to ensure timely and accurate outcomes.Participate in vendor evaluations, pricing strategies, and L-code selections.Lead team meetings, monitor practitioner KPIs, and contribute to strategic initiatives.Qualifications:ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.Broad expertise in multi-specialty orthotics and prosthetics, including trauma, pediatrics, scoliosis, and stroke care.Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs independently.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Visual and auditory ability to follow instructions and document care accurately.Capable of assisting and transferring patients as needed.Benefits:
