Special Education Teacher – Albuquerque, NM
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Albuquerque, New Mexico . This opportunity supports K–5 students and offers a consistent 4-day-per-week schedule , making it a great fit for an educator looking for a rewarding school-based role with a balanced schedule.
Position Highlights
Provide specialized instruction and academic support to K–5 students
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
Support students with a variety of learning, developmental, and behavioral needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing student planning
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
4 days per week with a consistent school-based schedule
Qualifications
New Mexico Special Education teaching license or appropriate credential required
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Experience developing and implementing IEPs
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to provide differentiated instruction and support diverse learning needs
