Make an impact working directly with students in a supportive middle school environment, helping shape positive outcomes for learners with unique needs. Two rewarding contract opportunities are available for Special Education professionals passionate about providing targeted instruction and meaningful support.

Both positions are full-time and located at dedicated campuses, serving a single school per assignment. As an Affective Needs teacher, you will guide students navigating significant social, emotional, or behavioral challenges, utilizing your experience and skills to foster growth and inclusion. As a Learning Specialist, you will deliver supplemental support in math and literacy, focusing on individualized strategies to strengthen academic success for students with mild to moderate needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) endorsement
• Recent experience in special education—mod-severe disabilities, autism spectrum support, and behavioral interventions a plus
• Familiarity with FBAs, ABA approaches, and proactive behavioral planning highly regarded
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with colleagues and families
• Ability to meet time-sensitive district credentialing requirements prior to start

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction in alignment with IEP goals
• Create a positive, structured environment for learning and growth
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide support for colleagues
• Collect data and monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Foster inclusive practices and advocate for the needs of every student
