blake vets (CareVet) is a busy, two-doctor small animal practice seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate and collaborative team. We take pride in providing high-quality medicine while creating a positive experience for both our patients and our people.

Assist veterinarians and LVTs during appointments, treatments, and procedures
Safely restrain dogs and cats using compassionate, low-stress handling techniques
Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
Assist with laboratory testing, radiographs, and sample collection
Care for hospitalized patients
Prepare patients for surgery and assist with recovery
Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment
Provide outstanding client service and work collaboratively with the entire team
Previous veterinary assistant experience
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask in a busy hospital setting
Passion for exceptional patient care
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle patients of all sizes
